A Cotton Plant is made by building Cotton Seed onto soil, desert sand soil or savanna soil. This plant only grows if the soil is wet. A cotton plant can have one of 8 sizes and starts with size 1. It will slowly grow to a larger size as long it is on wet soil. On size 8, it will stop growing.
When mined, it can randomly drop anything ranging from nothing up to 3 cotton and 3 cotton seeds. The larger the cotton plant, the better the chances are you get more. A cotton plant of size 8 is guaranteed to drop at least 1 cotton and 1 cotton seed.
