The Minimal development test is a subgame for Minetest which includes a minimal set of mods to provide a somewhat working game which is only recommended for testing purposes. It's meant for development (both core devs, and modders which want fast startup for testing mods); It's not in any way meant to be “played”.
This subgame contains things like the "tester tool". It also always gives items to players upon joining and uses different default textures. It only features one sound when walking on grass, no other sounds are included.
