Tin ore is an ore which appears in small clusters of four or five tin ores inside stone. It is rarer than copper ore and more common than gold ore. It can be found at a height of Y=-32 or lower and is more common at Y=-128 or below.
Mining requires a stone pickaxe (or better) and will give you a tin lump.
