Description
Saplings can be gathered from leaves, when you mine leaves (1 in 20 chance), or cut down a tree there is a 1 in 20 chance for each leaf block to drop a sapling. The sapling drop “replaces” the leaf block drop—you do not get the leaf block if you get a sapling.
Saplings can be can be planted on any block, and can either be planted on the surface, or underground with sufficient light (2 or more torches next to it).
After some time saplings will grow into regular or apple trees.
Jungle Saplings are completely analog to saplings, the only differences are that these are gathered from jungle leaves and grow into jungle trees.
