The “flora” group contains organic blocks which grow on Grass Blocks and spread very slowly over time.
Flora nodes which have enough light and which is not overcrowded will occasionally cause to appear another node of the same type to appear on a Grass Blocks within an area of 9×9×9. A flora node is said to be in an “overcrowded” area if over 3 other flora nodes are in an area of 9×9×9 node lengths.
A flora node which is on Desert Sand won’t spawn anything, instead it will become a Dry Shrub eventually.
Example: When there is a tulip in sunlight after a long time another tulip may appear near to it.
