Mobs – short for mobiles – consist in peaceful or hostile creatures, generally spawned randomly in the game world depending on lighting, height and spawning block conditions. Some of them may drop more or less precious items.
They are not part of the vanilla Minetest game and are currently only available through Mods.
Mods that add mobs
- Simple Mobs [mobs] includes (Dirt Monster, Stone Monster, Sand Monster, Tree Monster, Oerkki, Dungeon master, Sheep and Rats),
- Mob framework [mobf] includes (Sheep, Cow, Ostrich, Vombie, Slime, Fish Blue White, Clownfish, Wolf, Boombomb, Trader, Gull, Chicken, Rat, Deer, Big Red, Oerkki, Archer, Guard),
- Peaceful NPC includes random Non Player Characters that follow you,
- Zombie Waves [zombie_waves] includes (Zombies),
- Creatures [creatures] includes Zombies, Ghosts and Sheep.
Other mods (containing mobs)
- Random buildings includes (lumberjacks, traders),
- Zeg's Mobs and Lava Temple [zmobs] includes (Lava flan, Mese monster),
