Cotton Seed can be obtained by chance by harvesting jungle grass or a cotton. Only jungle grass spawns naturally in jungle biomes.

Cotton Seed can be planted on soil, wet soil, desert sand soil or wet desert sand soil. When planted, the cotton seed immediately becomes a cotton of size 1 which only grows when the soil is wet.
